Technology, Pollachi from 2010 to 2013. He has assumed office as the Principal at SNS College of Technology, an Autonomous Institution with effect from 3rd July 2013. He is enriched with 38 years of experience and expertise in the field of Industry, Education, Research, and Development. Under the able and efficient guidance of Dr. S. Chenthur Pandian, 16 research scholars have obtained their Doctorate. Presently, 10 research scholars are pursuing their Ph.D. under his supervision. He has also guided 07 M.E. students and more than 50 undergraduate students, during his service. He entitles a wide range of publications of more than 62 Research articles in reputed International and National Journals and has also endeavored his effectively participate in more than 30 International and National conferences. He has authored three books exclusively for Electrical and management students titled “Basic Electrical & Electronics Engineering”, “Electrical Machines manual” and “Total Quality Management”.

His areas of Specialization include Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks, Neuro-Fuzzy systems, Power Electronics, Power Systems, and Applied Electronics. He has served as a member of the Board of Studies for Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Anna University, Coimbatore and Periyar University, Salem. He is also the reviewer of many prominent international journals. He holds lifetime membership of MISTE, FIE, and MIEEE (USA).
