We are keen to shape our young minds through development of Technical Skills and Life Skills focusing their professional development. To achieve this, we have created a center for Skill and Career Development (SCD), which offers insightful Skills Development Programmes to groom students and make them corporate ready. The department achieves the enhancement of employability objectives by conducting intensive process oriented classroom training & by organizing Club of Excellence events related to both Soft and Hard Skills. These classes and events are managed by a well-groomed team from Academics. Students get an opportunity to attend a wide range of interactive workshops, training sessions that help them to recognize, develop and articulate their employ-ability skills for their future success.

- Kavi priya A of III BME got second place in paper presentation on“ 15th National Level Technical Symposium- BIOHYPHENYA – 18” at Velalar College of Engineering, Erode on 29.9.20.
- Infantnesan.J and S.Praisan of II BME presented a paper on title “Sleep Inducer” at Kings college of Engineering, Thanjavur on 29.08.2019 and won III place.
- Veena.E and Preetha.M of II BME have presented a paper entitled “Artificial cochlear Implant” in two days International Conference on Engineering and advancement in technology at Sri Krishna College of Technology, Coimbatore on 22.03.2018 and 23.03.2018.
- R. Srinithi of III BME was a finalist in SIH 2019 conducted by IIT Kanpur in association with MHRD.

- Lingesh .K of III BME attended All India Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) DTE TRG – I from 20.09.2018 to 28.09.2018 and Secured Gold Medal in the camp held at New Delhi.
- Lingesh K of III BME attended All India Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) DTE TRG – I from 03.08.2018 to 12.08.2018 and Secured First rank in the camp.
- Kavi priya A of III BME got third place in Zonal level chess tournament at United Institute of Technology on 24.9.2018.
