SCOPE OF IN-PLANT TRAINING (IPT)
In-Plant Training (IPT) will provide an industrial exposure to the students as well as to develop their career in the high tech industrial requirements. Reputed companies are providing in-plant training to Students. Here students are initially get counseled in order to emerge out their interest in various streams and what are all the basic concepts they know on that domain. After the successful completion of studies students has to face this competitive world with this knowledge to face many problems and to find the right solutions which is to be solved in the minimum duration of time. The in-plant training is totally different from the class environments.

The two days industrial visit helped the students to gain knowledge in each and every process that takes place in the shipyard.
- The third year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for 3 days Industrial visit from 22.08.2019 to 24.08.2019 to Cochin. 37 students and 2 faculty members visted the companies “Hindustan Machine Tools” company on 24.08.2019 and “Anna Aluminium Company Pvt Ltd” on 22.08.2019. The three days industrial visit helped the students to gain knowledge in the manufacturing of aluminium vessels and manufacturing of CNC Larhe Machines.
- The final year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for 4 days Industrial visit from 20.08.2019 to 23.09.2019 to Mangalore. 35 students and 2 faculty members visted the following companies “Lamina suspensions Pvt Ltd” and “Action Springs Pvt Ltd”, Mangalore on 20.08.2019, & “Lamina Foundaries Pvt Ltd”, Mangalore on 21.08.2109. The four days industrial visit paved the way to understand the various steps involved in the manufacturing of Leaf springs.
- The second year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for 2 days Industrial visit from 24.08.2018 to 25.08.2018 to Bangalore and Mysore. 42 students and 2 faculty members visted the company named M/s. Creative Manufacturers, Mysore on 25.08.2018. The two days industrial visit helped the students to gain knowledge in the manufacturing of Gear Boxes
- The Second year students of the Automobile Engineering department has visited the “Namkkal Transport Carriers (NTC) Pvt Ltd”, Namakkal on 12.02.2019. 43 students along with 2 faculty members visited the above mentioned company gained knowledge in articulated vehicles, cargo carriers
- The second year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for 2 days Industrial visit from 21.07.2017 to 22.07.2017 to Cochin. 43 students and 2 faculty members visted the Hindustan Machine Tools company on 22.07.2017. The two days industrial visit helped the students to get exposure in CNC machine tools and special machines.
- The third year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for 3 days Industrial visit from 20.07.2017 to 22.07.2017 to Bangalore. 52 students and 2 faculty members visted the companies “VST Tillers and Tractors” on 20.07.2017 & “Emmvee Solar Technology” on 22.07.2017. The three days industrial visit helped the students to gain knowledge in the manufacturing of farm equipments and application of solar pannels over various engineering fields.
- The final year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for 4 days Industrial visit from 19.07.2017 to 22.07.2017 to Mangalore. 51 students and 2 faculty members visted the following companies “Gurucharan” on 19.07.2017, “Lamina Group of companies” on 20.07.2017 & “New Mangalore Port” on 19.07.2017. The four days industrial visit helped the students to gain knowledge in the manufacturing process of Leaf Springs for all kinds of heavy vehicles and helped them to get exposure in the ship yard.
- The Second, Third and Final year students of the Automobile Engineering department has visited the “Namkkal Transport Carriers (NTC) Pvt Ltd”, Namakkal on 03.02.2018, 02.02.2018 & 31.01.2018 respectively. 115 students along with 6 faculty members visited the above mentioned company on various days and participted in the hands on training on Assembling and Dismantling of Heavy vehicle components such as Gear box, Axles, Engine assembly. The students also gained knowledge in articulated vehicles, cargo carriers & variety of tyres.
- The Final year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for an Industrial visit to Dodabetta Tea Factory, Ootacamund on 30.08.2016. 60 students and 2 faculty members visted the company and gained knowledge in preparation of Tea leafs.
- The third year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for 2 days Industrial visit from 28.07.2016 to 30.07.2016 to Bangalore. 51 students and 2 faculty members visted the company named M/s. Anubhav Udyog, Bangalore on 24.07.2015. The students and faculty members also visited Govt. Tool Room, Mysore on 25.07.2015. The two days industrial visit enriched the knowledge in the fields of Vehicle Body Building and applications of special equipment’s.
- The second year students of the Automobile Engineering department went for 2 days Industrial visit from 24.07.2015 to 25.07.2015 to Bangalore and Mysore. 51 students and 2 faculty members visted the company named M/s.
