Hands-on Training Sessions

On March 29 – 31, the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a three-day hands-on training session on "Product Development Program – Electric Vehicles" at the Piston Factory, SNSCE. The event drew 42 students in total. The participants learned the process of manufacturing an Electric Vehicle as a product and a hands-on session was taught to the students on the assembly of the E-Kart.

Industrial Automation Seminar

The Mechanical Engineering Department of SNS College of Engineering organized a "INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION SEMINAR." Mr. P. Sivanesan, Chief Operations Officer, Innovative Engineering Services, provided an overview of Industrial Automation and its categories, as well as a detailed explanation of the approach. 100 Mechanical Engineering students took part in the programme and learned about Industrial Automation.

NOVA for Polytechnic Students

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, SNS College of Engineering hosted an event called NOVA for Polytechnic Students on April 30, 2022. Around 100 students from several Polytechnic Colleges competed in technical and non-technical contests.

The Chief Guest was Mr.M.Chindabara Selvan, Product Development & Manufacturing Lead, Amphisoft Technologies. He addressed the students about evolving technology and the importance of engineers in today's business climate.

Winners in several competitions earned cash prizes and medals worth Rs.10000/-.

On April 29, 2022, the Department of Management Studies of SNS College of Engineering conducted the National Level Management Meet "ARTHASHASTRA 2022." Mr. S.Dharmarajan, Chief Financial Officer, ABT Limited, and Mr.P.Gandhimathinathan, Director, Revathi Equipment Limited, were the Contextual inaugural guests.

The National Management Meet made its day memorable with its fantastic programmes that compelled every student to engage with enthusiasm and spirit. Around 860 students from Tamilnadu's top institutions took part in a variety of activities. The congregation made participants explore & showcase their wonderful talents.

Communication Readers and Web Designing

On April 29, 2022, The Department of computer science and engineering organized the launch of a communication club/readers club/web design club. Our Director, Dr. V. P. Arunachalam, as well as the HoDs, Dr. K. Periyakaruppan (HOD-CSE) and Dr.Anuradha (HOD-CSD) were present to launch the clubs. Dr. Tissa Tony, Assistant Professor of English at Kumaraguru College of Technology, and Mr. Parthiban, an application developer at IBM, were the chief guests of the day.

As a part of the inauguration coordinator of the communication club, Dr. S Padma Priya initiated an Extempore Event.   Mr. R. N Raja Ravi Shankar, Coordinator of the Readers Club, conducted a Book Review event, while Mr. E. P Prakash, Coordinator of the Web Design Club, conducted a Spot Designing event.

Sivakumar, Tahsildar, Annur, and his team have spoken about the Election Commission of India's contest, as well as the awards and recognition given to this event.
